Laura Radford

Director of The Nottingham Ballet School

Our NBS director, Miss Laura, is an experienced and specialist dance teacher, mentor and choreographer. She trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London and holds a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education. She also studied on the RAD’s licentiate programme meaning that she specialises in the work of the RAD. Miss Laura also completed all of the RAD examinations up to Advanced 2.

Miss Laura teaches all of our dance classes at NBS and within Primary Schools in the local area.

Victoria Brant

Dance Teacher

Miss Victoria is an experienced dance teacher, specialising in ballet, modern, contemporary, yoga and mindful movement. Miss Victoria has been passionate about dance since early childhood, achieving high grades in RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap, Modern, Jazz and National. Miss Victoria went on to turn her passion into a career when she was accepted at The Brit School of Performing Arts in London at the age of 14. She then continued her professional training at The London Contemporary Dance School and finished her BA (Hons) Degree at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds.

Since her studies Miss Victoria found interest in mindfulness movement and wellbeing and has since achieved a Masters Degree researching Mindful Movement and Philosophy which she brings into the dance studio to assist children’s wellbeing, mental health and a sense of freedom while learning dance skills and routines.

Louisa Coe

Dance Teacher

Miss Louisa fell in love with dancing when she was just 4 years old. She studied Cecchetti ballet and ISTD Tap and Jazz growing up, and danced as a soloist in EYB productions of Nutcracker and Giselle. Wanting to pursue her passion further, she accepted her place to train at vocational dance school ‘Northern Ballet School’, where she gained a level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance and enjoyed dancing with graduate company ‘Manchester City Ballet’. Since graduating 4 years ago, Miss Louisa has been teaching contemporary, ballet, tap and Jazz in London at Emmerson School of Dance, Stagecoach, Tiny Dancers, and with London Ballet Company.

Miss Louisa has recently moved to Nottingham and couldn’t believe her luck when she found The Nottingham Ballet School! She can’t wait to get to know all of our amazing dancers!

Isla Donaldson

Class Assistant

Miss Isla is our Saturday Class Assistant and student at The Nottingham Ballet School. Miss Isla assists Miss Victoria with the running of dance classes on Saturday mornings. She is a wonderful role model for our younger students and helps to ensure that they all have the best experience during our classes.
