Summer Fête

On Sunday 16th July we held our very first Summer Fete at Basil Russell Playing Fields. Behind the scenes, our dancers had been working for the duration of their Summer 2 classes on their dances for the show. We were blown away on the day by their performances - all children exceed expectations (as always) and acted like true professionals in the making! The weather held and our dancers performed their routines under the lovely summer sunshine, whilst their grown ups all watched on from their picnic blankets and deck chairs. It was a really lovely event and we’ll certainly be looking at ways that we can bring our dance community together in more informal ways like this one to celebrate the young talent within our school.

Thank you to all the parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and the wider community for coming along and making this a lovely, feel-good event. Miss Laura was delighted by the amount of support that the school received during and following the event! Thank you also to Clara’s Creative Chests who designed bespoke goodies for our dancers too - these certainly went down a treat.
